All visitors to Australia must have a valid visa to travel to and enter Australia (other than New Zealand passport holders who will normally be granted a Special Category visa on arrival). It is your responsibility to ensure documentation is correct and completed before you commence your journey. Delegates must register and complete full payment for the event before lodging their visa application.
Before lodging an application, you should determine which visa you should apply for. The Australian Government Department of Home Affairs “Find a Visa” tool has the latest information on applying for a visa to visit Australia.
The Organising Committee can provide invitation letters to those who require it for visas or other necessary processes. However, this letter aims to only assist participants for their travel to Australia and does not imply any commitment for the Organising Committee to provide financial support. Please contact the Event Managers should you require assistance with this firstname.lastname@example.org. Please note that that a visa letter cannot be issued until full payment for a conference registration is completed and the Organising Committee cannot complete a visa application on your behalf.
Should your visa be rejected, and you are unable to attend the congress, the congress organisers will issue a full refund only if proof of rejected visa application letter is provided from immigration to the congress organisers. Should this evidence not be provided, the congress organisers are unable to refund the full amount and the full registration terms and conditions will apply.
